Day 12
A sprig of Rosemary
Day 12 of 100 days of doodles.
The rosemary bush on my allotment is in bloom at the moment, and the colour and smell is just beautiful, I took a few photos at the weekend and found them while scrolling for inspiration this morning, and decided it should be my 12th doodle. I really enjoyed this rough quick line making to show the many sprigs of rosemary, so unlike my usual considered small brush strokes. It was hard to find the perfect shade for the flowers with a limited colour palette and blendable pens that refuse to blend, so it’s ended up looking a bit more like a juniper sprig and berries, but not too bad for 15 minutes!
