Day 17
A patterned Scallop Shell.
Day 17 of 100 days of doodles.
I think I was inspired by the glorious sunny spring weather over the bank holiday weekend, and dreamed of sunny days by the seaside picking shells. I actually drew this upside down, then realised it didn't look much like a shell and turned it round for the photos! I'm finding it a bit difficult with the limited colours in the marker pen selection, and struggle with paler colours, so this is perhaps a little darker with brighter colours than i'd like, but not bad for a 15 minute sketch!
