Gerbera Flower
Day 9 of 100 days of doodles.
I'm getting into the swing of the project now, finding the marker pens easier each day. I found a pack of Winsor & Newton watercolour markers I forgot I owned, and decided to include them in the project alongside the ink markers which seem to have worked well! The inks flow much more fluid than the ink markers and the colours look far more rich.
I have quite a soft spot for the Gerbera flower, mocked as a tacky 90s motif. I picked up a lovely pale pink one from the supermarket this weekend, and planted it in some flower arrangements for the front garden of my flat, which is helping everything look decidedly more colourful and spring like, even if the weather didn't get the memo!
