Day 5
Leafy Pattern.
Day 5 of 100 days of doodles. Today I decided to limit myself to just 3 marker pen colours, and create a really loose patterned doodle. Of course I naturally gravitated towards a foliage pattern, as I’m always obsessed with doodling ferns and leafy tendrils! I had to go with my favourite colour scheme of Cobalt blue and pale pink. Overall i'm quite pleased with the result, I seem to be getting into the swing of using the ink markers, and the new paper definitely helps. This doodle feels a lot more inline with the Little Paisley Designs brand, which is good I guess, though the initial aim of the project was to give myself the freedom to to just create anything, even if it doesn't fit with my usual style.
